Meeting started at 7:10 PM on 10/11/17
Mark, Rosa, Jessica, Matt, Bob, Marge, Mary, Chad, Dan, Lynn, Cindy, Lizzie, Aaron and Noah were in attendance.
September Minutes were read, John made a motion to accept minutes as read Rosa seconded and the motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Report was approved as read.
Dues were discussed.
The group felt that the dues amount did not need to be changed
Dues are due this month, if not paid by December you will be dropped from the roster
Updated swap date
Facebook has 1032 likes, an increase of 15 over last month and a 4.7 star rating.
Instagram has 57 followers, an increase of 2 over last month
Twitter has 16 followers, an increase of 0 over last month
YouTube and Google+ are still under construction.
Magazines were available for checkout
Lynn made a motion to subscribe to TFH for 3 years, Rosa seconded the motion and the motion carried.

We need volunteers for “set up” to be done on Saturday at 1000 Islands.
We discussed changing the kinds of dry goods that people are allowed to sell.
The people at the Fox/Wolf Watershed Alliance designed an ad for us to use in the OCT edition of Amazonas Magazine. John blew it up and printed it to use as a poster for the Surrender Event and Auction.

Cataclysm Auction was short but sweet. All that attended had a good time.
MAS Auction is on the 22nd of October. Rosa made a motion that we go there on a field trip, Chad seconded the motion and the motion carried.
Aquatic Experience is on November 3rd through the 5th. John made a motion to go there on a field trip, Noah seconded it and the motion carried.
TCMAS is coming up on November 22nd.

Kim wants to do a presentation and tank set up on November 9th at New Horizons. Matt made a motion to reimburse John for the costs of setting up this program. Dan seconded, and the motion carried.
Brown County Library tank is being maintained by Richard.
Next month’s group buy will be through AquaSD, an email will be sent to members with the details as the time grows closer.
John asked for nominations from the floor, none were made.
John made a motion to elect all nominees by a show of hands, Mark seconded the motion and the motion passed.

John has developed a pledge letter and poster for Pet Shops. He is working on informational materials and articles.
The check was sent out.
John thought it might be a good idea to host a holiday “thank you dinner” for all of our members. This would also include the awards ceremony.
Mark received a pen with our logo on it. We had just ordered pens.
Rose Coleman has a bunch of stuff to donate to the club, Mark will pick it up.
Mark has a box of foam that might be able to be used for filters.
Noah is installing a large indoor grow-out pond.
