Meeting started at 7:11 PM on 10/12/16
John, Rosa, Ron, Sharon, Kristin, Mary, AJ, Jessica, Matt, Noah, Bob, Marge, Chad, Derrick, Tonya, Bob, Dan, Ken, Lynn, Chris, Kim and Paul were in attendance.
Mary made a motion to approve minutes as read, Dan seconded and the motion was carried.
The treasurer’s report was accepted as read.
It was a great auction but a long one.
The bidder cards were a success. We will talk about laminating them at a later date.
Different methods of speeding up the auction were discussed. Ideas that were discussed were:
· Designating a runner to put out seller items at check in
· Limiting sellers to 2 seller numbers per household
· Limit the member benefit to 10 drygood items instead of 15
John made a motion to limit members to 10 drygood items from 15. Jessica seconded the motion and the motion carried.
Up and running
The Facebook page has 737 likes, which is an increase of 48 likes since last month.
New magazines were distributed.

Fragstock was fun and had a good turnout.
The Rockford Fish Swap was attended by Noah, he had a great time.
John will send out an email to explain the route and stops a week before the events.

There were not enough participants for the club to sponsor last month’s group buy.
Next month’s group buy will be through Big Al’s an email will be sent to members with the details as the time grows closer.
We were able to accept 20 animals at the event. It was a great success and John would like to do another on before the Spring Auction.
The amount of dues was deemed fair and not changed. The “couples” membership was changed to “double” to keep with current practices. There was some discussion of limiting the “Family” membership to 2 adults and an unlimited amount of junior members.
Dan made a motion to elect all candidates since they are running unopposed, Bob seconded the motion and the motion carried. John returned as president, Ken was elected vice president, Mary returned as Treasurer, and Rosa returned as secretary.
