 Meeting Minutes

Minutes:  Read and approved

New Members: none

Old Business: A. Field Trip: Keith brought the suggestion of going to C.D. Buzz Besandy Anadromous Fisher or Facility in Kewaunee.

                                        B. Banners:  Discussion on whether we need banners. Still unresolved.

                                        C. Calendar additions. May, Jean V., June, Mark Z., July, Scott and Carrie S. We still have open Jan and Feb.

Sub Committees: A. Auction. We are still in need of an auction chairman. John W. will e-mail the auction duties to all members. If you feel that you can help with some of these duties please let one of the officers know. More discussion on auction/ show swap/ speakers. The members that were present lean towards having an auction in the spring and a show/swap/speakers in the fall. Come to a meeting and let your thoughts be known. If you can not make the meetings please e-mail one of the officers with your suggestion.  Jean V will contact Mike and Robin for their availability to do a spring auction, thereby aiding us to set a date for the spring auction.  

                                              B. Field Trip:  Keith made several suggestions 1. Vilas Zoo rainforest exhibit at Madison Free Zoo in Madison 2.Beaver Springs Fishing Park in Wisconsin Dells 3. Mall of America in Minnesota. He will check into renting a 15 passenger van and setting a date for these trips.

                                              C. BAP: No report

                                              D. Web Site: No report

                                              E. Library: New magazines are here. All have been checked out by members.

                                              F. Food:  The Boy Scouts were very happy with being a part of the auction and would do the next auction.

New Business: Again this year we will have a voluntary Christmas gift exchange at December’s meeting. The gift should be between $4and $6.

Open Forum:  Keith reported on his experience with Clown Loaches. He and Jean went to Exotic Cichlid in Manitowoc and reported on this place of business.  They believed we would all enjoy it and could be a possible a short field trip.
