1. Meeting started at 7:20 p.m.

3. Attendance:  Bob & Marge Van Den Langenberg, Tad & Audrey Storm, Ron & Sharon Greunke, Tod Friebel Scott & Carrie     Siewert, Jean Van Thiel

7. Elections:  President: Keith Coleman

                     Vice President: Ron Greunke

                     Treasure: Mark Zehren

                     Secretary: Sharon Greunke

 

8. Old Business: A. Food Committee:  Jean V asked what to do with the nonperishable food leftover from the auction? After discussion it was determined that it would be taken to the next meeting for use there and/or sold to members.

                            B. Field Trip: Jean made a motion to have April be field trip month seconded by Sharon .  Passed

                            C. Banner: no report

 

9. Sub Committees: A: Auction The fall auction did fairly well.  Complete dollar numbers will be available at the next meeting. 

                                        The new Auction Committee is Tad S, Dan D, Scott S, Tod F. More people are welcome. 

 

Discussion on whether we want to have two auctions each year. Would we like to replace the spring auction with a swap meet, show and speakers? Bring your thoughts to the next meeting. Tod made a motion to donate $125 to 1,000 Island Nature Center for the use of their facilities for the auction. Seconded by Marge.  Passed

 

                               B: BAP No report. Do current members still want to be on this committee? Please let your new president know.

 

                               C. Library: No report.

 

                               D. Field Trip: How about a trip the Mall of America for this Aprils trip? Anyone interested in a trip in July for Parade of Ponds in Green Bay (this is for outdoor ponds)? Come to the next meeting and let us know.

 

                               E. Newsletter: Jean made a motion to discontinue the newsletter and have the minutes on the web site. Seconded by Carrie.   Passed

 

10. New Business: Nov 2004 – Oct 2005 Meeting list and location.  As you can see there are still a lot of openings. If you would like to host a meeting just let one of the officers know.

                   B. Spring Banquet and Thank You Banquet:  Jean V made a motion to have the spring banquet on the evening following the spring show/swap meet/auction and the thank you banquet the following Saturday after the fall auction. Tod seconded.  Passed

 

Jean  made a second motion to have this year’s thank you banquet on Wednesday the 20th of October 2004 at the Golden Corral at 6:oo p.m. on West Hill Boulevard  in Appleton with a $15.00 limit per person for members that worked on or at the auction. Seconded by Bob.  Passed
