7. Old Business: 1.Elections:  Winners

                          President, Keith Coleman

                           2. Keith contacted the person that Scott (Fish Unlimited) informed us of. There was a miss understanding. He just wants to sell at our auction.3. Mike S has agreed to auctioneer for us. 4. Field Trip: Tad, Audrey, and Keith shared on their experience to Besadny Fish Hatchery in Kewaunee.5. Fun money for auction workers: Keith made a motion that members who help setup for the auction receive $5 fun money and that members who help at the auction receive $10 fun money. Corie seconded. Passed 6.Thank you dinner: Tony informed the club that Cruise In Diner is no longer open. Tony made a motion to cancel the Thank you Dinner. Discussion followed. Defeated Sharon will call for prices and availability to Willies Super Club and Jack’s or Better and make reservations.

 

8. Sub Committees: Auction: 1. Scott of Fish Unlimited has donated fish to the auction. Keith will pick up and bring them to the auction. 2. We did a run down to make sure that all of the items were completed or being handled by someone. 3. Tony gave a list of items that we can use for raffles prizes.

9. New Business: 1. Mark asked if we would like to give an honorary membership to members who have been in the club for x amount of years. We had a short discussion than tabled until the next meeting.2. N.E.W. Zoo: Tod said that both tanks have a need for plecos and that one of the tanks could use more fish. Both Tad and Tony will bring fish for the Zoo tank to the auction. Then Tod will determine how many more fish to purchase at the auction to fill the tank. 3. Christmas Gift Exchange: We will again have a voluntary gift exchange after the December meeting. The cost of the gift should be between$5.00 and $7.00.

 

10. Open Forum: 1. Keith stated that there are several fish tanks worth seeing. One of the tanks is in the Waubee Lodge near Mountain. Another of the tanks is in the Tundra Lodge and the last one in Marty’s Boston Crab in Green Bay. 2. Tony said that the Shawano Chamber of Commerce has an 800 gallon tank for one sturgeon. 3. Ron and Sharon brought a flyer on the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium and shared their experience there. 4. Beth shared on how she became involved in raising Beta’s. 5. Sharon brought a photo of a chess game where the pieces were represented by fish and fishing reels.
