Sub-Committees: Auction: 1. Flyers: John and Rosa’s friend created a flyer but they did not print examples because they were uncertain if we wanted the raffle prize on it.  They will send out the examples to all members asking them to vote and get their results to Sharon. We need this done by the September meeting to get them copied In time to be distributed on time. 2. Raffle Prize: Jeff is going to purchase a 125 gallon tank and John will check on the cost of a stand for it.

Field Trip:  1. Several suggestions were made. 1. Shed Aquarium, Foster and Smith’s for a tour of their warehouse and the Museum and Aquarium in Debuke IA. Bruce will follow up on the Shed and Foster and Smith and Jeff will follow up on the Deboque trips.

New Business:   1.Resale/Pet Resale and Consignment Store in the planning stages to open next summer in Appleton.  Should be interesting to watch the development and implementation of this idea. Watch for more information during the up and coming year.

Open Forum: 1. We discussed area Pet Stores that support our club. Especially how helpful Pet’s Supplies Plus has been 2. Jeff is placing an order to Ken’s fish. If anyone would like to place an order at the same time to defer mailing costs contact Jeff with you order. 3. Sharon shared on several ways that we have tried to enlist new members and the results that occurred. 4. Bruce asked if Parrot fish ever stopped growing.  He was told that fish will only grow to size of the tank. John It depends on the fish. An experiment that he read about had researchers growing trout in glass tubes. The fish grew round to the inside of the tube.
