7. Old Business:  1.C.W.A.S. Swap: Jeff, Ron, Sharon and Keith attended. Small turn out with plants selling the best. During their fall fish show they are going to incorporate a swap. 2. Sharon sent out all of the e-mails for the field trips. 3. Promotion: Mark has twice set up a table and handed out our business cards at the N.E.W.Zoo. As of this writing we have not been contacted about any new membership.

         8. Sub-Committees: Auction:  A. Keith has been in contact with Mike, Marc, Randy and Jeff and they will be able to be auctioneers for the fall Auction. B. Sharon asked if we again wanted to use the same flyer just updating the information. It was agreed that we will continue to use the same flyer that we have used in the past because folks are familiar with it.

    Web-site: Ron will add the raffle prize in the upcoming events.

 Library: A. Scott reported that it is current and he brought some of the magazines along for folks to read.

 B.A.P. Looking for more members to participate

Field Trip:  1. Chicago shop hop is postponed because of health reasons. 2. Basdney Fish Hatchery: Keith will contact the hatchery and obtain the date and time that they will be having their event. If you are interested in attending this keep a close watch for more information. 3. Mall of America Aquarium: if you have any interest in going contact Keith.   

9. New Business:   1.Mark requested to redo the backing on the tanks at the N.E.W. Zoo. Sharon suggested using plastic tablecloths cut to size. Carries suggested that he paint the back of the tanks. It was decided that we will give both options to Mark and let him decide which he would like to do. 2. Keith made a motion to provide a T-shirt for Jeff and to see if others would like to order another shirt. Sharon seconded.  Passed

10. Open Forum: 1. Tad shared on his experiences selling frogs on Ebay and how his perch are progressing. If you are interested in purchasing any frogs contact Tad. 2. Two story tank: Keith knows of a man who has a two story tank in his home. He is trying to arrange for us to view it in the spring of 2010. 3. Tropical Fish Hobbist has an article about holding a meeting. Keith found it informative and suggested we might like to read it.
