7. Old Business: 1. September’s meeting: We will meet between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. at A Aquatics in Green Bay.( Check website for directions) Tour their facility and then go to Fish Unlimited tour their facility. Then the meeting will follow with pizzas ordered in. Keith made the motion to order pizza’s Scott seconded. Passed 2. Tony purchased the new router. 3. Scott and Tod shared on their field trip to the Shed Aquarium. 4. No further information on the tank for a raffle prize for the up coming auction.
8. Sub Committees: Auction: Keith will contact Mike, Randy and Marc to see if they are available to be auctioneers. Sharon will develop the flyers and have them printed. She will also mail them and send our e-mails and the advertising. We then ran through the rest of the duties to ensure all of the items were covered. The Thank you dinner will immediately following the auction will be at the Cruise in Diner in Kaukauna. Keith made the motion and Ron seconded. Passed
Web Site: Ron presented a graph showing the number of hits that the site has received in the past year.
Library: Scott reported that all of our books have arrived.
B.A.P.: No Report
Field Trip: Keith will check into the dates and time for the Kewanee fish hatchery.
9. New Business: 1: Tod reported on his findings at the N.E.W. Zoo. They are in need of a new filter and some food. He was informed to take them out of the G.B.A.S. supplies.2. Ron inquired on interest in the Pet Expo. It was tabled until the actual invitation comes.3. Discussed ways to try to encourage new members.
10. Open Forum: 1. Tad shared on his experience with raising perch and the requirements that go along with selling them. 2. Scott inquired of Tad if a special food that he had given him was working for the coloring of his Cherry Shrimp.
11. B.A.P. Tad brought fish.
