7.  Old Business: 1. Keith, Randy, Holly, Ron and Sharon shared on their experience at Foster and Smith Frag and Swap.

                            2. Picnic: Wild Rose Fish Hatchery does not have tours on the weekends. It was decided to have the picnic there anyway. The picnic will be on Saturday August 12, 2006. We will meet at Tad’s house at 9:45 a.m. departing at 10:00 a.m. On the way we will stop and pick up sub sandwiches. Keith will bring the soda and Angie will bring the dessert.

                           3. N.E.W. Zoo. Keith will take over the maintenance at the N.E.W Zoo.

                          4. Steve made color copies of the membership flyers.

                          5. September’s meeting and Just Pets tour: The meeting will meet at Fazoli’s at 2720 N. Richmond Street in Appleton. It will start at 7:00 p.m. (regular meeting time) and then from 8 to 9 p.m. we will tour Just Pets at 2929 N. Richmond Street in Appleton. Tad will confirm this with the owners.

                         6. Xotic Aquatics is tabled until their website has been restablished.

                        7. A.C.A Auction: Keith made a motion to rent a van to go to the A.C.A. auction in Chicago. Sharon seconded. Passed.  On July 23^rd 2006 we will meet at U-Save Rental 2240 W Spencer Street in Appleton at 7:45 a.m. leaving at 8:00 a.m. returning around 9:00p.m.  Sharon will send an e-mail to all members.

                      8. Minnesota shop hop: Randy will contact the group to check on available dates.

                      9. Pet Expo: Ron will contact Pet Expo and find out if there is a cost to the club and to work out a possible November presentation to the club.

    8.  Sub Committees: A. Auction: Will be October 15, 2006 at 1000 Island Nature Center. Randy has agreed to be one of the auctioneers. A 125 gallon tank and full setup has been donated to the club and will be used as a raffle prize.

                                     B. Website: Ron has added the dates of the meetings on the site.

                                    C. Library: 1. The Cichlids News Magazine has started arriving. 2. Scott is still waiting to hear back from Mike and Robin for the other books.

                                    D. Field Trip: Discussed in Old Business.

10. Open Forum: 1. Steve shared on the fish in his tank.

                            2. Discussed ways of making it easier to clean plastic tubing.

11. B.A.P. Scott brought fish.

12. Raffle: Holly one the raffle.

13. Next meeting is the picnic meeting at Tad’s house.
