Minutes: Read and approved

 

New Members: No new members

 

Old Business:  Field Trip: Keith gave a report on the field trip to the House of Angles, Old School House and Lakewood.

                              Sign:  John made the stand for the new sign. Very nice job John

 

Sub Committees:

                Field Trip: A. After discussion it was decided to only go to the Minnesota Aquarium Society auction. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

                               B. No report from Tad on Parade of Ponds in Green Bay.

 

                 Library: A. Scott made contact with John and now has all the books and magazines. Check to see if there are any books that you might have an interest in and then just contact Scott.

                                 B. Keith made a motion to purchase a book on Corydorus (with the green cover). Tony seconded   passed

 

                Show/Swap/Speakers: A. Ron will contact 1000 Island Nature Center for availability for September10, 2005.

                                  B. Awards: Tony is not able to make the awards for the show this year. He made a motion to purchase awards from All Sport Trophy and Engraving. This would include 1st and 2nd place trophies and a plaque for best of show. Ron seconded.    Passed   Tony also commented on an ACA medallion for best of show which he will check into.

                                  C. Jean will be a speaker at this event.

 

 

                 Web Site:  Sharon will contact Dave to have the meeting start time posted on the web site,

 

                 B.A.P.: 3 month award for bring in B.A.P. fish was won by Scott.

 

New Business: A. Tony sent in for a free listing for our club in the Tropical Fish Hobbyist magazine in The Meeting Place listing.  Thanks Tony

                              B. Our new sign is only printed on one side. Carrie will check into the possibility and cost of having the other side printed or another sign that can be attached to the new stand with the old sign.

                              C. Picnic: Sharon made a motion to have the picnic be August 13th 2005 at Bay Beach in Green Bay with sub sandwiches, chips, and beverages provided. We will meet at 11:00 a.m. behind the pavilion. Keith seconded.   Passed

 

B.A.P.: Tony and Scott brought fish.
