7.  Old Business: 1. July meeting: The meeting will be at Tod’s house. Not a field trip as previously stated. 2. Shed Aquarium/Picnic: Corrected date is Saturday August 4th. We have six members who are committed to go with a possible six more. We will confirm up the plan at July’s meeting.3. Foster & Smith Frag & Swap: Canceled not enough members are able to go.

 

8.  Sub Committees:  Auction: No report

                                  Website: We are receiving many requests to have links put on our site. After discussion it was decided to permit those with mostly aquarium and fish products and services.

                                  Library: 1. One of the new books is on its way and the second book is not available from our source. Scott will check out other sources to try to locate it. 2. Our subscription for Cichlid News is due. After discussion we agreed to have Scott bring one of the old ones in because most of us are not familiar with the magazine. We will vote next meeting on renewing the subscription.

                                  B.A.P.: No report

9.  New Business: 1: Keith is recovering from surgery and will not be able to make the meetings for some time. Ron being Vice President will take over his duties until Keith is able to return.  Get Well Soon!! 2. Router: Tony reported on our need for a wireless router to connect all of our computers together for the auction. It will help checkins and checkouts and recording purchases. Tad made a motion to purchase a router in the price range of $60. Carrie seconded   Passed 3. N.E.W. Zoo: Sharon & Ron reported that Keith received a message from the N.E.W. Zoo regarding problems with the tanks. They had a power outage and one of the heaters malfunctioned causing all of the fish in the tank to die. Keith went and repaired what he could.  Tony will follow up with what needs to be done..

 

10. Open Forum:  1. Carrie gave us all copies of an article “Small Floaters Before Your Eyes” It reports on freshwater jellyfish in Wisconsin waters and how they arrived here.
