7.  Old Business: 1. Just Pets Sharon had flyers made and distributed them to Just Pets while there Craig gave her discount cards which she gave to each member. Steve will make more color membership flyers for other events.

                            2. Keith gave a report on fish hatcheries and determined that the closest one was by Wild Rose. It was decided that we would incorporate this field trip with our picnic in August. We will meet at Tad & Audrey’s on August 12, 2006,

                           3. Tod will take over the maintance of the tanks at the N.E.W. Zoo with help from Mark and possibly Jeremy.

                           4. Foster & Smith Coral Convention Frag and Swap is June 24 & 25 2006 if you would like to go contact Keith.

                           5. Xotic Aquatics Keith would like you all to check out there website to see exactly which fish you would have an interest in purchasing. Bring you ideas to July’s meeting or inform one of the officers.

                           6. ACA convention field trip: We are planning on going to the auction part of the convention on July 23^rd, 2006. If you would like to go contact Keith or any of the other officicers.

8. Sub Committees: A. Auction/ Show  Tony made a motion to have an auction seconded by Carrie.  Passed  The fall auction date is October 15, 2006.

                                 B. Web Site: Tony that we put the day of the month on the meeting information. Ron will add it right away.

                                 C. Library: Ron made a motion to purchase the two follow up books by Ad Koning’s Back to Nature. Tad seconded. Passed Keith made a motion to renew our subscription to Tropical Fish Hobbies Tad seconded. Passed  Keith made a motion to renew our subscription to Cichlid News Scott seconded. Passed

                                 D. Field Trip: Discussed in Old Business

                                 E. B.A.P they are still looking for one committee member.

9.  New Business: 1. WBAY Pet Expo contacted us and wanted to know if we wanted to be a part of the 2007 event. Tony made a motion that we have their trade show director come and speak with us at a meeting. Tad seconded. Passed

                               2.  Keith asked if everyone received the e-mail that he sent for Angie.

She has a 125 gal tank, stand complete set up for sale for $500. If interested contact Keith or Angie.

                               3.  The fish hop with the MN club was tabled until next fall.

                               4.  Tad was contacted by Just Pets to have a meeting at their facility with a tour following the meeting. Tad will check this out for September’s meeting.

                               5.  Tony was contact by a guy who has a 55 gal complete set up for sale for $100. If interested contact Tony.

                               6.  Ron was contacted by the American Cichlid Association about joining the Local Club Liaison program.  This person will send information on auctions, swaps, and events to all clubs that join. Ron has agreed to the contact person for this program.

10. Open Forum: 1. Point of interest: South Carolina Aquarium if traveling in that area you can find more information at www.scaquarium.org.

                            2. Discussed how often Bristol Nose Plecos breed.

                            3. A new Aquaculture facility has been opened in Wisconsin for more information on this you can go to www.ashlandwi.com/dailypress/index.php.

                            4. Sharon asked about some unusual behavior with angel fish.

11. B.A.P. Tony, Tad and Scott all brought fish.
