7. Old Business:  1. Auction: 1.Fun money. Audrey had the amounts available for those who were not at the spring auction and wanted to know their amounts. Bruce asked for clarification on when the money can be used. 2. Foster & Smith. Audrey made a motion to Not send our auction mailing list to Foster and Smith because of privacy issues. Bruce seconded. Passed. 3. Ron brought some of the donated items to the meeting with members taking what they needed. Some will be distributed in goodie bags at the auction and some we will try to sell.

         8. Sub-Committees: Auction:  Sharon suggested that we set a date for the fall auction. After members checked their calendars November 1, 2009 was chosen. Ron will contact 1000 Island to see if it is available on that date.

    Web-site: Ron will contact the GCCA with regard to making changes on the seller sheets.

 Library: The new magazines are available for checkout. Scott also informed us our subscription for Aquarium Fish Magazine is up for renewal. Tad made a motion to renew the magazine. Ron seconded. Passed.

 B.A.P.  Scott inquired on updating the B.A.P. records. Sharon made a motion to remove the old records of folks who have not been a member for the past two years. Jeff seconded. Passed. Scott will keep them in a separate container.

Field Trip:  1. Chicago shop hop is still in the planning stage. If interested contact Bruce.

9. New Business:   1. Keith (President) has had surgery with complications and was not able to attend. Ron filled in.2. Speakers. Mark asked via e-mail if we would like to have Terry Fairfield give the club a presentation. Jeff will do an informal survey to see if there is enough interest. 3. Promotion. Mark again via e-mail has expressed an interest in setting up a booth at the N.E.W. Zoo to give out information about our club. He will contact the zoo to get the okay. He will need a few members help. Tod and Jeff said that they would both be willing to help.

10. Open Forum: A. Discussed receptiveness of Fish/Pet Stores with our club. B. Fish disease and how to get rid of it. Also club members shared on the disease’s their fish have had and how they cured or attempted to cure them. C. Jeff reported firsthand how fast Piranha can bite.
