7. Old Business: A. Auction, auctioneer tried a new bidding approach and made an unhappy seller. Tony made a motion to send a formal apology and $20 to the seller. Sharon seconded Passed. Tammy will send the apology
B. Food was a success.
C. Contribution to1000 Island Nature Center, Ron made a motion to give them $125 for the use of their facility. Tad seconded. Passed Sharon will send a thank you with the contribution.
D. Driftwood field trip was set for Saturday the 15th of April meeting at the Park and Ride at Hwy G DePere. Meet at 8:00 a.m. leaving at 8:15 a.m. Sharon will send out e-mails to all members.
8. Sub Committees: Auction was a great success. Thanks to all for a job well done.

Field Trip: Trip to House of Angels still in the
planning stage.
B.A.P. Raffle for the first quarter was won by Tony.
9. New Business: A. Keith discussed the Foster and Smith Frag and Swap open house June 23-25. He stated that it is well worth your time.
B. Steve asked if he could send us a survey that he is doing for his master on filters. After discussion it was decided that he could send them to members and that is was totally voluntarily. He also asked if we would provide him with other clubs and groups contacts.
C. Mark said that he was unable to have next months meeting. Sharon and Ron offered to take the meeting.
D. It was asked if you have a family membership does each person in the family who has items in the auction have to attend 7 meetings to get to keep the first dollar on auction items? After discussion Keith made a motion In a family membership if at least one member attends 7 meetings all will get to keep the first dollar on auction items beginning Jan 1 2006. Tad seconded. PASSED
E. Sharon was asked by Just Pets if the group would like to work with the store to offer the club discounts. Tad will follow up to see just what they had in mind.
F. Ron was approached via website by Exotic Aquatics. They are offering us discounts on large orders of rare and exotic fish. With this information was a price list. Ron will e-mail all of the club members with the information to study and we will discuss it more at the next meeting.
E. Club sign. It was asked did any one pick up our sign from the auction. The answer was no. Sharon will contact 1000 Island Nature Center to see if they know of its whereabouts.
10. Open Forum: A. Sharon and Ron shared on their experience at Central Wisconsin Aquarium Society’s auction.
B. Tony knows of a person who has 180 gal full set up for sale. If you are interested contact Tony.
C. Tad brought in an article on the Movement of invasive aquatic plants into Minnesota through horticultural trade.Iit is available on line at www.sciencedirect.com.
11. B.A.P. Tony brought fish.
