7. Old Business:  1. Foster’s and Smith field trip- Keith and Bruce gave a report stating that the prices were worth going. But they were disappointed that they were unable to get a tour of the facility.  2. Tanks for raffle- Tad was able to get a donated 75 gallon tank and setup for the raffle. 3. Continuous membership verses new membership- The by-laws Section 3 Article II reads that any member whose dues are unpaid two (2) months after becoming due shall be dropped from the rolls automatically. Full payment of dues shall constitute reinstatement with the GBAS Members approval. 4. CWAS field trip- Ron, Keith and Sharon gave a report stating that they had a good time and that we received an e-mail from the club thanking us for participating.

 

         8. Sub-Committees: Auction- 1. Auctioneers- Keith was able to receive confirmation from both Mike and Mac who with Randy will be our auctioneers. 2. Keith ran through the auction duties making sure that they were all assigned. 3. Pizza Oven- Keith made a motion to purchase a double pizza oven for $59 to $79. Tad seconded. Passed. 4. Laptop- Keith made a motion to purchase a used laptop from Ron for $275. Jeff seconded. Passed. 5. Sharon will find a place for the Thank you dinner. 6. Setup will be Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. Many hands make light work. 7. For every ones benefit the rules will be enforced. 8. Discussed changing the auction format. Will follow up at March’s meeting.

 Library: Keith shared on one of the clubs books on raising live food.

 B.A.P.: At next month’s meeting Scott will pick out raffle prizes from the manufacturers donations.

Field Trip:  1. Chicago shop hop is still in the planning stage.

 

9.  New Business:   1. Reinstate members-Section 3 item C of the by-laws reads that Reinstatement after a period of (3) months, may be permitted by the GBAS Membership after payment of one (1) year’s dues.

 

10. Open Forum: A. Tad has many tanks and filters and heaters for sale. If you are interested in any of these items contact Tad at 920-667-4395. B. Jeff shared on his experience at the GCCA Swap in Chicago.
