Meeting began at 7:10.

Present:

Audrey, Tad, Jeff, Maria, Austin, Ron, Sharon, Joe, Kou, Xia (New Member) Tobi, Mark, Kyle, Lynn, and Lizzy

Old Business:

-New Zoo tank coming down by January1.

-Sharon made a motion that the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary aquarium will be maintained by Jeff for $5 in Fundmoney per month. The motion was seconded by Mary. Motion passed.

-Mary made a motion that Jeff will have a plaque made for the aquarium stating the tank is being maintained by GBAS. The motion was seconded by Sharon. Motion passed.

-On the forum, postings will be deleted after one month.

-Auction net profit comparable to past years.

-Ron made a motion that the club purchase of an amp/speaker and wireless microphone from Island Music before the next meeting, not to exceed $225. The motion was seconded by Jeff. Motion passed.

-Sharon made a motion that the spring auction tentatively be set for March 18, 2012. To be confirmed at the January meeting. The motion was seconded by Kyle. Motion passed.

-Motion made by Scott to renew subscription to “The Cichlid News”. The motion was seconded by Sharon. Motion passed.

New Business:

-Auction date for the spring will be March 18^th- May not be able to set up the night before

-Sharon makes a motion that we officially set March 18^th 2012 at the Kaukauna Municipal Building for the spring auction; Jeff seconded the motion.

-Jeff will begin looking for a Spring Auction raffle prize.

-GCCA Swap is coming up on February 19^th

Open Forum:

-Joe’s family will be downsizing their aquariums. They will possibly be selling some used aquarium supplies.

BAP:

-Jeff gave updated point standings

-No fish to BAP

-Up and running

Library:

-No new books

-Jeff will look into purchasing books for the Library
