7.  Old Business: Calendar.  A. March’s meeting will be at Keith’s.

                                              B. Manufactures donation requests were mailed out. Merchandise has already been arriving.

8.  Sub Committees: Auction, A. March 19, 2006 has been reserved at 1000 Island Environmental Center.              B. Sharon will make flyers.

                                                 C. Scott will check with his son’s Boy Scout area to see if one of their troops would like to provide food for the auction.

                                                 D. Tad will contact manufactures to see if they will

                                                      donate raffle items.

                                                 E. Sharon will get together with John to get bidding

                                                     paddles.

                                                 F. Keith will contact Mike S to see if he can again

                                                     auctioneer for us.

                                                G. Keith will make more bag tags.

                                                H. Sharon will e-mail Tad with the past years

                                                     meeting minutes for fun money tabulations.

                                                I. Mark will get extra bags to Tony’s

                                                J. Sharon will check on raffle permit status and

 Web Site: A. Ron found that a mistake was previously made in                                                           the Liberian’s e-mail address and has corrected it.

                                               B. He did not find any problems with meeting locations.

 Field Trip: Carrie reported on the prices for the Shed Aquarium in Chicago.  Tony will get information on the ACA Convention and see about coordinating the two events.  

 BAP: Tony sent list around to see if all was correct.

9.  New Business: A. The House of Angels still has tanks and equipment for sale. You can contact him at 715-542-3554.

                              B. ALA Livebearers has asked us to send information to all of our members on their convention. Sharon sent and e-mail to all of the members.

                             C. Tony suggested ideas for creating more awareness of our club. 1. having brat fries at various locations. 2. Contacting Cable Companies and having the information posted on their community calendars,

                            D. We were contacted by a person to sell some fish equipment. Mark will follow up to see if this is on the up and up.

10. No one brought fish.

11. Open forum: A. Discussed having live plants in fish tanks.

                            B. Scott brought a tuffa rock and has a friend that has them for sale. If you have an interest contact Scott.

                            C. Discussed washing replaceable filters in the washing machine.

                            D. Discussed making your own artificial plant arrangements using other than plastic aquarium plants.

                            E. Marty’s Boston Crab on Lombardi and Ashland has an aquarium that is worth seeing.
