The Green Bay Aquarium Society (GBAS) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the aquarium hobby.  Our meetings are open to the general public.  Members need not live in Green Bay, or even in Wisconsin!

Aquatic Pet Rehoming Event:

Saturday October 1, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
1000 Islands Environmental Center
1000 Beaulieu Ct., Kaukauna, WI  54130

GBAS has partnered with the University of Wisconsin-Extension and the Wisconsin Sea Grant to help keep exotic species out of Wisconsin’s waters.  If you have an aquatic pet (freshwater or saltwater) that you can no longer keep, never release that pet into the environment.  Instead, contact us anytime at rescue@gbasonline.org and we will make arrangements with you to take that pet and find it a new home.

To kick off this new partnership, GBAS is hosting a Pet Rehoming Event on October 1st.  Drop off your unwanted aquatic pets, no questions asked, between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm at the 1000 Islands Environmental Center in Kaukauna (see map below).  We will also accept aquarium plants at this event.

Next Meeting:

Wednesday October 12, 7:00 pm
535 Ruth St., Green Bay, WI  54302

You need not be a member to attend.  All are welcome.
